Hi!

I’m glad you want to know more about me.

I'm a Visual Marketer. And a Project Manager. And a Pancake connoisseur. And a lot of other things.

I call myself a ‘Visual Marketer’ because there are two things that interest me the most. One, things that look good. Like really good. And two, things that compel me to know more about the visual that looked so good. Aka the marketing strategy behind it.

Also, there’s another reason I call myself a ‘Visual Marketer’. I’ve had stints on both the Visual and the Marketing front. Having studied Fashion Communication at the prestigious NIFT in India, I dove into space design and visual merchandising at some of India’s top fashion houses like Aditya Birla Group, Future Group, and Spykar Lifestyles. Then, traveling a thousand miles west, I came to NYC to study Master’s in Fashion Marketing from the prestigious LIM. In tandem, I got the rare opportunity to be a Creative & Marketing intern at the up-and-coming fashion house, Zachary Prell. It is here, that I put my theories into practice, devised social media strategies, and executed digital marketing plans.


But I felt the need to do more, to learn more. So, I bagged a PR & Marketing internship at Scotch & Soda, a global brand that has 200 stores, and can be found in over 8000 doors. Here, I study consumer insights, try to figure out trends before they become trends, and set-up PR activations. I also ensure important people attend our important events and end up writing, talking, publishing & posting about us in their magazine interviews, cover stories, special issues, and almost anywhere else a fashionista's eye might take him/her. Then, I moved on to explore the world of fragrance and beauty marketing where I worked with brands like Carolina Herrera, Christian Louboutin, Prada Parfums, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier for their marketing strategies for Retail, Wholesale and PR. Project Management is a part of almost all the roles that I have done until now, I took up a full-time role at L’oreal as a project manager for all the divisional operations for Maybelline. Working on making all the processes smoother, managing communication between the cross-functional teams as well as vendors, leading the major promotional display meetings and working on all the monthly reports for artwork as well as Purchase orders really diversified my bandwidth of knowledge.

PS - I love pancakes. I know you didn’t ask, but this information is supremely crucial for anyone who wants to know me. Again, I love pancakes. In case you already forgot.
